DVM Callie Garoutte
Dr. Garoutte, DVM, is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian with a strong focus on large animal care. With 8 years of experience in the field, Dr. Garoutte has extensive knowledge in treating cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, and other livestock. After earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from ISU, Dr. Garoutte, worked in the Large & Small Animal clinic in Stuart, IA and working for Heinz rescue as their surgeon/ general practitioner, equipping them with a diverse skill set to handle a wide range of medical and surgical cases.
Dr. Garoutte is passionate about providing high-quality, preventative care and is committed to improving the overall health and well-being of livestock. Whether it’s routine health exams, reproductive assistance, emergency care, or advanced treatments, Dr. Garoutte ensures each animal receives personalized, thorough attention.
In addition to veterinary practice, Dr. Garoutte is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in large animal medicine through continuing education and professional development.
Outside of work, Dr. Garoutte enjoys riding and training her horses, running her family farm and mentoring with in the community for 4H, Vet students and equestrians, further demonstrating a commitment to both their profession and the community they serve.
